Born 15 July 1949 in Novosady Village, Shchuchin Region, Grodno Province.

Graduated from the Order of October Revolution and the Order of the Red Banner of Labor Belarusian State Agricultural Academy (Scientist-Agronomist), Minsk Higher Party School (Political Scientist).

Director General, Industrial Republican Unitary Enterprise “VitebskOblGaz” (Province gas supplier).

Member of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus of the 3^rd and 4^th convocations.

Member of the Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia for Ecology Issues, Nature Management and Mitigation of Disaster Consequences.
