Kazarovets Nikolay

Born 26 March 1949 in Kharki Village, Postavy Region, Vitebsk Province.

Graduated from Vitebsk Veterinary Institute (with distinction) (Zooveterinary Technician).

Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

Mr Kazarovets is the author of more than 400 scientific and educational works, including 10 monographs, 11 patents, 30 study guides and reference books.

He worked as a field-crop agronomist at “Voropaevo” Cooperative Farm, a worker at Voropaevo woodworking plant in Postavy Region, Vitebsk Province, an electrician-wireman at the Construction Department No 3 of the special Trust “EnergoStroyMontaz” in Gomel City. Having graduated from Vitebsk Veterinary Institute he worked as a Senior Zooveterinary Technician at “Novoselki” Cooperative Farm, Director of “Myshanka” Cooperative Farm, Petricov Region, Gomel Province. Mr Kazarovets worked as a Senior Teacher, Associated Professor of the Department of Farm Animals Breeding, Dean of Zooengineering Faculty of the Belarusian State Agricultural Academy, Head of the General Directorate of Education, Science and Personnel of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus, Director of the Department of Education, Science and Personnel of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus, Rector of the Educational Institution “Belarusian State Technical Agrarian University”.     

Awarded the Honorary title “Minsk Citizen of the Year — 2006”. 

Elected Deputy of Minsk City Council of Deputies of the 25^th convocation. 

Deputy Chairman of Minsk City Council of Deputies of the 26^th convocation. 

Member of the Bureau of the Expert Council on the Projects of the State Programs, Chairman of the Section on the Agricultural Issues.

Member of the Administration of Pervomaisky District of Minsk.

Member of the Commission of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus on the State Prizes of the Republic of Belarus.

Member of the Council of the Republican Agricultural and Industrial Union “Belarusian Agro-Industrial Union”.

Member of the Special Council on Thesis Defense of the Republican unitary enterprise “Scientific and practical center of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus on animal husbandry”. 

Member of the Bureau of the Department of Agrarian Sciences of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

Deputy Chairman of the Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia for Social Policy, Science, Culture and Humanitarian Issues.

Mr Kazarovets has the Honorary Mentions of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Supreme Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles of the Republic of Belarus, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus, the Letters of Official Thanks of Minsk City Executive Committee and Minsk City Council of Deputies.
