Born August 1, 1957 in Gudovo Village, Dubrovno District, Vitebsk Province.

Graduated from the Institute of Political Science and Social Administration of the Communist Party of Byelorussia (Political Scientist, Teacher of Social and Political Sciences).

Merited Worker of Industry of the Republic of Belarus.

Worked as an assistant wizard on equipment maintenance of circular machine, deputy chief of the Supply Division of the Vitebsk Order of Lenin KIM knitting factory. Was an expert of the Commercial Department of the Soviet-West German Joint venture “Belvest”, director of the MKP “LM + MK”, general director PKF “LM + MK”, general director of the Joint Belarussian-German company “Marko” Ltd, Joint Limited Liability Company “Marko”.

Member of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus of the 3rd, 4th and 5th convocations.
