Born September 8, 1954 in Minsk.
Graduated from Higher Military Anti-Aircraft Defense School on Engineering and Air Defence Systems, the Military Command Academy of Air Defense after Marshal G.Zhukov, electronics engineer, colonel.
Served on commanding posts in Soviet army. Worked in Department for National Security of the State Secretariat of the Republic of Belarus, chairman of the Committee on Social Protection of military, servicemen and command staff of internal affairs agency, international soldiers, demobilized persons, and members of their families of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus.
Elected Deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus (2004 — 2008). From 2006 to 2007 — Special Representative of the Minister for Foreign Affairs on cooperation with European and parliamentary institutions.
Chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party of Belarus.
